Our laboratory conducts basic and translational research in the area of pediatric nutrition. There is no other time in life when the provision of appropriate nutrition is of greater importance than during infancy and childhood. During this phase of life, proper nutrition is of key importance for growth, development, and long-term functional outcomes such as cognitive development and immune response.
